New Crescent Moon of Jumada al-Thania 1441:
The Astronomical New Moon (conjunction) is on January 24, 2020 (Friday) at 21:42 UT. On that day, the moon can not be seen any where in the wolrd. On January 25, moon can be seen in Africa with difficulty. In most of Americas it can be seen with difficulty. On January 26, the moon can be seen in the whole world (See visibility curves).
Jumada al-Thania new crescent moon, on January 25, was seen in USA, North America as shown on visibility map below.
January 25, 2020 (Saturday):

Today (Saturday) 25th of January 2020, the Hilal of Jamadiyul Ukhra 1441 has not been sighted anywhere in Australia. Therefore, the month of Jamadiyul Ukhra 1441 will begin from Monday, 27th of January 2020.

Crescent of the month of Jamadiul Aakhir 1441 AH has not been sighted anywhere in Australia. Sunday 26th January 2020 will be the 30th Jamadiul Awwal 1441 and Monday 27th January 2020 will be the 1st Jamadiul Aakhir 1441 AH.

On January 25, in Coquimbo the city of Chile the new moon was sighted just before the magrib prayer; the sky was quite clear.
- Not Seen: MCW member Dr Hisham M. Hamed from Cairo reported:
On January 25, I started my observation attempt, in vain of course, a few minutes
before apparent sunset (17:26). There was no sign of the Moon tonight at
any point. The weather was cold and clear. In fact, the meteorological conditions
were superb. However, the astronomical conditions of the Moon were well
below the threshold of visibility. After Maghreb prayers, 17:46, the Sun
was 5° below the horizon, but the Moon was already below 2° refracted
altitude. There was simply no hope of seeing a crescent of width 9.4
seconds of Arc.

On January 25, Sturday, Sighting effort for the crescent of Jumada Thani was marred by heavy dusty harmattan whether here in Garu in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Visibility to the sky was impaired.

There is no sighting report of Jamadul Thani anywhere in Kerala, or any part of India on Saturday 25th January 2020.

I tried sighting the new crescent moon for the month of Jumada al-Thani, 1441 here in my location; Aliyu Musdafa College, Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria; today Saturday (Jan 25th) from sunset time 18:14 hrs until 18:44 hrs, I couldn't find it. Sky was clear.

On the evening of Saturday 25 January 2020, the Hilaal was NOT sighted in South Africa. Therefore Jumad-al-Aakhirah 1441 will commence on Monday, 27 January 2020 in South Africa.
- Not Seen: MCW member Mr Hamza Rijal from Tiny Island of Zanzibar reported:
On January 25th, 2020 the Hilal was not sighted in any part of tiny island of Zanzibar, the sky was hazy, there is no news of sighting from sister Island of Pemba, neither Tanzania mainland nor Lamu Kenya, In sha Allah tomorrow Sunday 26th January will be 30th of Jumada al Oola 1441AH and Monday 27th will be the first of Jumada al-Thania 1441 AH.

The Hilaal for Jumadá al-Akhirah 1441 was not sighted in the UK or anywhere else including Morocco and South Africa.
Wifaqul Ulama Shura have therefore decided that the month of Jumadá al-Ulá 1441 will complete 30 days. 1st day of Jumadá al-Akhirah 1441 will be on Monday, the 27th of January 2020.
- Seen: Council of Shia Muslim Scholars in North America announced:
The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that there were verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye in Orlando, Florida, and Phoenix, Arizona, during the sunset of Saturday, January 25th, 2020. Therefore, the first day of the month of Jumada al-Akhira, 1441 A.H., according to the multiple horizons opinion, will be on:
Sunday, January 26th, 2020 for all areas under the horizon visibility curve from Richmond, VA to Portland, OR (as seen in the orange and red areas in the diagram below). Monday, January 27th, 2020 for the rest of North America.

The Moon-sighting Sub-committee wishes to inform the community that the new crescent for the month of Jamadi-ul-Aakher was sighted in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Therefore, SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 2020 is established as the 1st Day of Mahe Jamadi-ul-Aakher, 1441 AH. – for Florida
January 26, 2020 (Sunday):

Today is Sunday 26th of January 2020 we have sighted the moon in sydney Australia , the weather was partly cloudy and we had a chance to see the moon 8:30 pm for 10 min then it disappeared behind the clouds. So tomorrow is Monday 27th of January is the 1st of Jamada al thani 1441H.

Tonight, Sunday, 26th January, apparent sunset was at 17:26. I began my observation attempt a few minutes later. No sign of the Hilal, until at least 7 minutes past sunset. However, it was clearly visible right after Maghreb prayers, ~20 minutes after sunset. The horns were at 3 and 7 O'clock.

Today Sunday, 26.01.2020 I have 30 Jumada al-Oola. I saw the Hilal with necked eyes at 17.25 our local sunset time was 17.11
The sky was not in perfect condition but I saw it clearly and easily.

The crescent for Jumadal Ãkhir has been seen today, Sunday, 26th January, 2020 here in Garu in the upper east region of Ghana. Despite the dusty weather condition here, the moon was seen by me and other friends at Tangazu, Garu.

The new crescent of Jumadal Akhirah 1441 was not seen on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from my location at Rowasiya Observatory in Bendo Ketitang Juwiring Klaten Central Java. The sky was very hazy and cloudy.
However, the 1st of Jumadal Akhirah 1441 in Indonesia started on Sunday, Jan 26, 2020 according to Imkan Rukyat criterion on January 25, 2020.

The Hilal for Jumadá al-Akhirah 1441 was sighted today on 26th Jan, 2020 at Tarbela Dam by me.
1st day of Jumadá al-Akhirah 1441 will be on Monday, the 27th of January 2020.

- Seen: MCW member Mr Ishmael Khan from Princes Town, Trinidad reported:
On January 26, the moon for Jumada Al Thania 1441 was sighted after the Maghrib Salaah just outside the masjid along with other brothers. The crescent was between 4:00 o’ clock and 8:00 o’clock. Therefore, the first day would be Monday 27th January 2020. May Allah have mercies on us all and accept Oula efforts in getting closer to him.
