The Astronomical New Moon (conjunction) is on August 14, 2015 (Friday) at 14:53 UT. On August 14, there is no possibility of moonsighting anywhere, excpet possibly by telescope in Polynesian Islands. On August 15, the moon can be seen with difficulty in Australia and Africa, and USA, but can easily be seen in South and Central America. On August 16, the moon can be easily seen in almost the whole world (See visibility curves).
