Crescent Moon Sighting

		CURRENT MOON lunar phases We, at Moonsighting.com, calculate where the crescent moon sighting is possible for every lunar month. Visibility of the New Crescent Moon is calculated using the criteria, developed after decades of research by Khalid Shaukat, of Moonsighting Committee Worldwide (MCW). Development of the criteria included several thousand authentic observations, collected over a period of 150 years in different locations of the world. These visibility calculations jive with the observations every month since 1993.

Bulletin Board

		Jumada-al-Thani crescent moon is not going to be visible on June 3. On June 4, it can be seen in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan with difficulty, but for the countries west of Pakistan, it should be easily visible, except South Africa where it would be extremely difficult to see even with telescopes.
