I was at my sighting location by 6:06 pm EDT (sunset: 6:25 pm). The western horizon was partly cloudy and hazy. Using a pair of binoculars (7X50), soon I started looking for the crescent. My first binocular sighting was at 6:10 pm. Because of clouds, haze, and my eyesight, it took me another 46 minutes to positively sight the moon with naked eye at (6:56 pm). The horns were approximately at 1:30 and 6:00 O'clock (1:30;4:00;6:00). I followed the moon by naked eye and binoculars till it disappeared below clouds very close to the real horizon. At 7:09 pm, I saw its upper horn set (moonset: 7:13 pm). At 6:55 pm, the temperature, dew point, relative humidity, and pressure were 57.0 F, 45.0 F, 65%, and 29.96 in, respectively.
